"Asked the bride for directions"

A week ago we hired Caseys cars to drive my wife to our wedding venue.

Before this there had been some changes as we had originally booked a limo but due to insurance reasons they could not supply the limo anymore after our original date was cancelled. We were offered a choice of wedding cars instead so chose the classic Rolls. I was fairly happy with the service at this point as Gary the owner had been quite sympathetic and offered us the alternative cars.

I called Gary the night before the wedding to confirm the address details and timings etc for the day and was told everything was set and the car ready for the day.

**The Wedding day**

The car arrived on time and left at 2pm with over an hour to get the venue (45 min drive) for our 3pm ceremony. This is were the service declined massively. About 10-15 mins into the journey the driver began to ask my wife for directions to the venue multiple times. My wife made it quite clear that she could not remember the way and it was not her responsibility to direct the driver from the back of the car while preparing herself to get married. She suggested he used a sat nav or caller someone for directions.

The driver drove straight past the venue at about 3pm. The car was seen by guest's and the Venue manager. At this point the driver was flapping and continued asking my now stressed out upset wife for more directions. He had to pull over multiple times to ask passer buyers for directions and also pulled into a garage half a mile up the road from the venue to see if someone could help.

While pulled over my wife's mother got her phone from her bag and they used maps to direct the driver to the venue.

Due to this delay my wife had no time to prepare herself for the ceremony and missed out on key photo opportunities as registrar's were on a strict timescale for another ceremony. My wife was very upset and worried because she was late for no fault of her own. This isn't how a bride should feel a few minutes before getting married.

There was no apology from the driver either.

You may expect this sort of service from a taxi but not from a private hire wedding car service at this sort of cost.

**Afterwards**

We decided to wait a few days before contacting Gary at Caseys Limos to see if we had any apology but we had no call or email. I decided to email our feedback direct. I did not request any compensation I just wanted to express our concerns and disappointment in the service so this could be improved for future customers.

As expected we had no response hence this review and other reviews on multiple bride and wedding social media pages that my wife is using.

In these current times businesses like this will need as many customers as possible and I really hope Gary and Casey's Limos have seen my feedback and will improve..
